Build effective AI stories covering the 5 D’s

The 5 critical Dimensions of effective AI storytelling are.

1. Data stories

How good are your data stories, in terms of impact articulation, communication, and coverage of multiple aspects such as data governance-ethics-bias-regulations,? How well have they supported the strategic decisions and actions of the company?

2. Differentiation

Does the story capture the key Strengths/ USPs/ differentiators of your strategic AI narrative?- be it in technology or capability or usage, or across all fronts, in an integrated manner e.g. for verticalized AI stories

3. Durability

Longevity of the differentiating factors of your AI capability narrative- how long can it last? How long will it provide you with a unique market position and competitive advantage? How long will your most aggressive competitors most likely take, to mimic/ partially imitate/ modify and create their own versions of your uniquely differentiated AI story?

4. Deliberation

How well can your target audience relate and resonate with your AI stories? e.g. if your unique AI stories talk about customer-inspired AI being your targeted AI forte, then how well have the targeted customers been able to relate to the story persona’s/ roles (Heroes, competition, market levers, regulators) and their journey maps and problem contexts (plots)?

5. Definition of value

How do your strategic AI narratives reflect the key impact metrics on organizational outcomes?- e.g. Impact of your key AI initiatives on topline and bottom-line, growth indicators, cash management efficacy, new markets, and revenue streams, increased customer-bases and market share, increased profitability, etc.
